i liked how in POE you had on this one stage a Su-34 i think with a special anti-boat missle that was guided by the co pilot. being able to sink a carrier makes the US really work, because they HAVE to keep a foothold on the map by controlling at least 1 point on the map, because having your UCB taken away and your air support can greatly hinder the team. you would see engs workign around teh clock keeping the carriers repaired! also when it sank, about 4 ribs and 2 amphibious APCs spawned which was nice.

Sinking is possible. Ive seen n00bs fly planes of the deck in to the sea many a time and the plane sinks quite a bit before blowing up in some cases, same with the helo.
