You can already stop the spawn car from moving, just right click with your mouse

Would be cool to shoot out the tires to immobilize them. But who's to say that some idiot doesn't drives the car way off into the middle of no where and shoots out the tires hence the car is stuck there for most of the round.

No, those are jihad cars that you right click with. Not spawn cars. Check the back seat for C4. Or just left click inside. A honking horn means it's a spawn car. Music and it's a bomb car.

I like the whole element of surprise thing, but the problem is when the USMC captures areas, they're only capturing it in name's sake.

What I mean is that if you spend all this time securing an area and you rid the area of spawn cars and capture the area, two minutes later those spawn cars are going to be behind you again, and the area you "captured" is now flooded with hostiles again.

What sense does that make?

That's why I think the spawn cars should respawn, but ONLY at palace. Make the insurgents WORK to have that element of surprise. If they want to have two spawn cars behind your lines, they should have to get them there.

lol, that’s the same question that's been asked in any conventional vs insurgency operation since Vietnam all the way to modern day Iraq.

They should be like rally points. You shouldnt be able to drive right up next to a flag and spawn an army. 100 meters minimum distance from a flag to be able to spawn.

I think it would help the usmc actually be albe to hold facility for once.

Well, if they are so stupid as to park a spawncar next to the flag they deserve no better than getting it wiped out in no matter, b/c USMC (and esp. A10/cobra) don't even have to search it. And spawn timers should be enough to prevent spawn spamming.

But on the other side I have seen oh so many USMC soldiers cramped around a spawn car (or running by one) and not doing anything against it. Have even been yelled at ('stop wasting ammo you §%§&') when I opened rifle fire on a spawn car (in lieu of Grenades or such).

Bottom line: I think it is perfectly realistic for insurgents being able to spawn anywhere. Spawn cars only spawning at palace or xxx would be acceptable, though.

... as an afterthought: If they only spawn at palace, they should look a bit more like a polished Mercedes Benz. The present ones obviously come from junkyard... ;-)

Perhaps once facility is capped any of the spawn cars that respawn with 100-200m won't respawn. If the insurgents drive a spawn car into the radius that is fine. More spawn cars at palace and less respawning farther out in the village could work in conjunction with the radius.

Do the spawn cars currently respawn in the exact same position all round long? I think they do but cant confirm this. I would like to see a bit more random spread on the spawn if this is the case.

Most squads I find now will get real excited to find a spawn car and pound the **** out of it. I don't care if I die while trying to kill it because it needs to go :x

The whole point of spawn cars is that the enemy is seemingly coming from nowhere. Like an insurgency would in a real city. You never know where the attacks will come from.

Alright, this is a three page thread with suggestions about what things *should* be like. That's great. However, this does not help me with tactics involving spawn cars *currently*. Does anyone have any real information on this?

Ok, id like to bring up a point abit off topic but oh well.
The spawn car in the PR guide its called European car i have never ever ever seen a car that shitty in Europe it should be an old Merc like on three kings or on BHD or some sort of car with a paint job not some rust bucket lol oh yeah and whats the deal with 2 seats.

Insurgents should only get say 10x spawn cars to stop noobs parking them in stupid places

Yeah, get a decent Cobra pilot, with a decent gunner, pray they dont have lag spikes. Make sure they are
a) At a high altitude,
b) Communicating with each other and the commander,
c) Aware that a Boat marker is an enemy spawn car.
