It was done in afgan once a few years back. Saw it on military channel maybe you can find it on youtube. Its a true story, some spec ops guys need to get of there fast they have real pics and everything from that day.

The Royal Marines also did it a few months ago. This screenshot was taken in Assault mod I believe. It's extremely rare for soldiers to sit on the attack pod wings.
I've heard of 2 stories where it has happened: Once in 2002 (I think) where an Apache crew went and rescued a fellow Apache crew and recently with the Royal Marines.

hey guys whatsup. sorry for the long reply. i ddnt even thing anybody would chek this thread out. iv been helping SPUSH with his marpat troubles. as iv also been workin on my own. if pr wants to use them id be happy to let them use it though im not quite done withthem. i tweak with the skins alot. so yeah. i put as much quality and effort into making them awsome. all kit parts that should be acu are acu. heck even the molle slots on the army interceptor otv are extended more like the real army rather then the older otv's marines use. i recently sharpend up the acus so the digital pattern is mroe apperent and doesnt bland out into grey from just a few feet away. the skins look gorgous. i put as much detail. from the desert boots. to the shading, name tags. hell even the right color cat eyes bands on the helmet(lil cloth stretchy thing that keeps the helmet cover on and sometimes has the name of the soldier. but yeah. iv been hard at work on em. glad ulike them. and yeah i thought what th ehell i put passangers on my cobras=) thier a big help=)

did you put a Eagle, Globe and Anchor every 11" ?

just so happens i did put one on my m16 for bf2 assault. il put it on the marpat two. il look itno where it goes on the marpat. also i talked to eggman. itl be in pr .6 =) so all u pr' happy goiers will enjoy marpatness =)

It looks good and all, but the USMC uniforms don't have the American flag patch on the side arm. The second last pictures correct though. The US Army uniforms in reality have the American flag patch.

true. il probably mask over the flag for the version im making for pr, though is the globe and eagle and anchor symbol on the uniform somewhere i dont exactly know where to put it.. =)

is there any way of using some home made skin for your self and use that in pr?
just your own skin not the skins of the other players,
would I still be able to play online if I did that?,
(I say just my own skin and not the skin of other as other whise some cheater would give every body a nice yellow camo skin so they'd show up)

i havnt played a whole lot of pr, my time is spent modding and making bots as good as most avg or new but not noob players. uh well if they use special files that indicate cheating or modded content exteded from pr u wont be able to us them online. same in bf2. if u find a punk buster free server i think you can. i dont know a hole lot about it though. just so u guys know when its done il have downloads for the skin but after bf2assault and pr release them first.

These skins will be in 0.6? THAT IS TEH AWESOMENESS!

yup eggman sounds pleased. i removed the us flags on teh marine skins cuz well in real life they dont got em. also i put teh globe, eagle , anchor symbol on the shoulder of each of teh marine skins. so yeah. almost done gonna send them to egg soon=)

It repeats itself every so often on the uniform ... there isn't just 1 ... there is many.

ah well. not like ud probably tell then huh . oi. i just tweked them a lil bit more. almost done.
