Wow...... women fight in Iraq and while it may not be conventional I still like to call it the frontlines cause there out there dying and fighting too. Sorry that there are plp still living in the stone age here but it would be realistic to have women as a humvee driving kit equipped with a pistol or a M16. Please put them in it does the game justice and women in general.

You can even go to http://www.goarmy.com, Careers&Jobs, then go to the "Combat" category. All but Air Defense, Field Artillery, or Patriot missile battery operator are closed to women. It would quite obviously be unrealistic to have women in the game.
I really disagree cause look at what arty platoons do nowadays they fight, patrol and other stuff. And what about MP's, Women can be MP's cause that is allowed in the Army. So saying its not real is well not real. I say do it cause it would be the right thing to do sorry we have plp here who act the same as those turban heads by trying to keep women down.

I don't know if a female model would be all that realistic, for USMC at least. Women are not allow to have combat roles in the military. Although I am sure many do engage hostile forces.

even if we did add a female soldier we can't make a female voice for all the positions because voices aren't model specific, they're ranks specific.

This was suggested way back in the day of PoE1

they said one of the biggest reasons they won't do it is because they would have to make new animations for movement.

British forces at least allow women to have combat roles in the navy.. Faye Turnly? You don't see many female insurgents though but I'm sure some Iraqi women would pick up an AK and fire it at soldiers without question.

Faye turney was a sea(wo)man, not a soldier.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Are there women in the Marines who rode into combat in Fallujah? No. So why would they be in PR where every map is two teams going into direct combat with each other.

Imagine driving a Humvee and being chased by MEC policewomen, shooting at you, gangsta-driveby style.

actually that would get old and be detrimental to game play very quick

I guess this mentality is one of the reasons not too many women play this game.

That is funny, they look like batman and robin with the capes.
The game is set in the future so women's role in combat could easily have changed.
There is no real problem to having a female model other than the same problems that come with adding any new model.
Ever see the movie Aliens ?
They had a bad-*** Marine who carried their version of the SAW.
There is no practical reason to not have a female model and if it is unique in FPS games then it is just a little eye candy for a bad-*** tactical shooting game.
In real life women will be fully integrated into combat forces within 10-25 years in most countries so it's not like asking a fish to ride a bicycle
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
