christ if I was under fire from a REAL mg I would be zig-zagging my head off. My adrenaline would be going so hard I would not stop for miles. :D

You know, I think that even if you had a crapload of gear, and a LMG started opening on you from the other side of the street, you wouldn't suddenly stop and start walking to cover. Stamina is unrealistic in the first place - don't make it worse.

I agree. The amount of adrenaline flooding your bloodstream would virtually nullify the effects of tiredness. Therefore, you'd zig-zag like a ***** to avoid those bullets. Unless you're too fat because all you do all day is sit at home and play computer games. Then you wouldn't be able to zig-zag.

Combat gear is relatively light. You have your rifle, your spare ammo, 'nades, webbing, a canteen, your helmet, and that's about it. It odesn't weigh an awful lot. And these guys are seriously fit. Combat personnel in the Armed forces are some of the fittest men and women you will meet. A lot of them are national and international athletes. Some represent their countries in sports such as cross-country skiing, biathalons, triathalons and other endurance tests. Trust me, they could zig-zag to hell and back.

Everyone post their weight specs, then we can modify each player, how much he can zig-zag :P

I ran 600 m, altough I got tired after 200 m...well, wasnt because of a machine gun firing at me, it was the P.E. teacher, thats worse than MG, lol

i reckon i have average fitness and i ran a mile and a hlaf with about 30kg on my back(school bag, i was SERIOUSLY late for school) and yeah i was knackered at the end-but im not the one who trains for years and has to run 30km+ treks with full bergens on my back rilled with bricks and sand(about 70kg)
i seriously reckon a trained soldier could throw in some turns when running with only combat gear.

this is supposed to be realistic.
exactly... has PR gotten so good that you have to pick out things that have NOTHING wrong with them to whine about?
seriously... hell, if someone was shooting 7.62 rounds up my ***, i'd zig and zag like there was no tomorrow!

My school bag(backpack) can weigh from 60-100 pounds, depending on the day.

I dont know about you guys but when I load up my Backpacking pack (internal frame 6+lbs) to 40lbs...man its a decent amount of weight. I definitely like to keep it lower than that. It leaves my body with a lot of enertia, so more weight means its more difficult to change directions based on the simple physics of things. A soldier doesn't have all the weight on his back but he still isn't going to be make ultra-darty turns whilst running for his life. Right now you can turn on a dime thanks to EA, I'm not sure how far out a "momentum effect" would be from the engines ability. I hate to say things aren't possible but thats usually whats said in these discussions. But yeah Zig Zaging is definitely realistic...I actually remember hearing the technical term for it in a history book (stephen ambrose book) but I can't remember the word.

Oh and 60-100 lbs in school backpack seems crazy man...I spent a lot of days buckin 90lbs haybales and I definitely wouldn't be walking around school with one on my back...that much weight would destroy your pack and your shoulders so quickly. I think you should load up and weigh yourself on a scale to see your real weight...lol 100lbs of school stuff seems obsurd dude.

I have a locker. I just walk to school with a heavy backpack on some days. 60-100 is the worst though. Most of the time it it more like 30-60, and yes I have weighed it(on the locker room scale).

so youd consider running straight towards the enemy so they dont have to compensate for anything more realistic?
id imagine you dont last long in PR huh?
:D <--- i'd use a wink, but thats for DEVs

Once again, (refer to previous page) it was sarcasm.
