BMP-3 would unbalance the game ... note it has 100mm selfloading cannon capable to shoot AT missiles , coaxial 30mm cannon 2A72 ( upgraded 2A42 Mi-28 cannon ) and 3 7.62 MG ( one coaxial , two infront of IFV ) + it is able to be fitted with composite or reactive armour

the bad thing of a BMP is that... it has fuel tanks for doors >.< LOL

Yeah, but it dosent have a coax 30mm, only a 7.62mm MG.
A properly implimented BMP-3 would be an exelent and powerful addition to the MEC.
But it wont happen, cant have the MEC getting better toys than the US/UK, now can we?

US will get both , aan APC(lav25) and a IFV(bradley) i think that MEC should have an APC(btr9) and a IFV (BMP-3)

the devs quoted before if im not mistaken, they cant pick an choose parts from other mods in black sand and just plonk them in pr, so im guessing the devs are trading PR stuff and expertise for these items.

Exactly . It is Soviet airborne IFV for VDV units . Extra light armour ( almost none ) , though with weapon sistem taken from BMP-2

They are extra fuel tanks so they may not be filled during combat .

Or it's gonna be like the T-72 in every game out there, with two huge drum fuel tanks still on when it goes into combat.

A BMP-2 Maybe, not a BMP-3, Cus if you made it realistic it would be the single most powerful thing in the game, and that wouldn't be good.

No, it'd be the most offensivly powerful IFV. But just like all the other IFVs it would be easy meat for tanks, attack helis, ground attack aircraft and so on. It would be top of the IFV food chain, but would still be in that part of the food chain when it comes to taking on things that are better than IFVs.

Bob, you know what the Russians designed the BMP-3 to do? Other than transporting infantry it's sole purpose is to be a tank killer.
It has it's main gun as well as 9M123 Khrizantema rockets which can destroy a tank very easily from a very long way away.

just like a bradley , and AFAIK it will be added , and just like a bradley , in RL they can be destryoed by ONE round of tank .
