When modeling new building(s) think of them as an sections so for example create basic square building, than staircase to its roof, than other building that can fit ontop of it etc.
So that mapper can produce different buildings out of same pieces.
think of LEGO cubes.

Iron taxi, while you are more skilled, and have it SKINNED, and INGAME, you got the model all wrong. I win! It doesnt have 4 sides, it has 8, a base, (stairs were my idea, you don't see them in the original images.) Although you may have put in the extra effort, my model is more realistic.
All I need to do is the interior, the windows, and the light. (I think stairs can be placed by the mapper, so no worries aye?

I'm making a more realistic BHD Mogadishu map from the one thats out there...
Im new to mapping (modding in general) so itll be a while before I really really need it and it looks like youve got a lot of great ideas to work on...
and I could use the buildings with the walls on the roofs for the insurgent teamt o fire on the convoys and "rangers"
but this should be pretty easy...
anyway, thanks for even offering.

UH OH! MODELOFF!!!
Think about it... 3 sides face you DIRECTLY, meaning there is 3 in front, 3 in the back, but then, what about the sides? The sides would require 2 more for it to fill in the "invisble gap". It has 8 sides. Check the first reference photo.

Although I would be up for debate on that, I modeled it around that theory. But now that I think about it, 3 x 3 sides, that would be symmetry and still make sense. :-/ I guess I see your point now, but without a good photo its too hard to tell.
Oh, and I dont wear underwear, this could get messy.

Also, I just noticed, you seem to have an "interior" but I dont see a way to the top. Am I wrong?

dude...i checked the railing and you are totally right.....eigth sides...
hehe...
i jumped my own gun...i wear pants...and YES every floor is accesible to the players including the top level.....only a smacktard would model a lighthouse which you couldnt enter thats so VBF2
