What do you mean shame about the EU been on the run all the time, isn't it just a futile battle for whatever fertile land is left on the planet? I don't see how either side can be righteous under those terms.

In all honesty, I think a reason DICE has avoided this is because, no matter what the story would be, it would be bound to P.O. some fanatical left/right-wingers because the United States wasn't depicted as evil/heroic enough. With historical wars, like BF1942 and BFV, you couldn't really argue history. With futuristic wars, like BF2142, it felt distant enough to disconnect your country from. This might be a concern of the devs (you know, because we don't actually know how the war got started). I don't know, though.
I've already thought up a personal story for this mod, and that's good enough for me for now. If you want to hear it so you can get some ideas, though...

yep agree, becuase we all know that if push came to shove the greatest country in the world GREAT BRITAIN (clues in the title) would come and take over all the world again.

Think, it was the same issue with C&C Generals...

GB is frozen in 2142... The reason is just that I live in EU.. I kinda don't like them trying to force people to use euro though lol.. O_o I'm weird
Anyways I love storylines to games and when I know what I'm fighting for I usualy fight better.
