W00t! I'm going to be a shovel whoring Engineer anyway. But I heard Civies can't pickup kits or else they die, so blast! That means Insurgents can ONLY get the M95 if an American brings it to them or they sacrifice a Civilian for it. How cruel!

Shot down 3 Cobras and 2 A10s yesterday...A10 are the easiest...
How?! I find the thing impossible to use. So far, the only thing I shot out of the sky was an A-10. And I didn't even fire. The pilot freaked out and over maneuvered into the ground. Only other "hits" I've gotten was a Blackhawk in which the Missile FLEW THROUGH THE DAMN OPEN DOORS and hit the wall behind it. I shot it while it was landing or taking off, they were sneaky about it so I only noticed them when an A10 flew by and drew my attention that way.
Either they deploy countermeasures and reset my lock on then fly out of range or they are going a direction that would make it impossible for the missile to follow it, or I line it up perfect to fly it straight into it's back end and it goes, he starts a turn, and the thing doesn't track him.

Btw kills with SA-7's are totally unrealistic,stingers are good for hitting a-10s most of the time where they cant even shoot US choppers,because their flare redeploys very fast.But US didnt even loose a single figher plane in Iraq while they lost dozens of choppers...
When flying a chopper i know i am nearly invincible to enemy Sa-7...
It should be the other way imo,

You may be invincible to SA7, but not RPGs. Can't tell you how many choppers I've either downed or drove off with an RPG.

Anyway, there is no need to move the .50 cal. For one, it does not make an impact on the game, and if you move it, it will only take a week until everyone knows where it is again. I used it one time, I was insurgent, and was not very impressed by it. Only being able to fire it from the prone makes it useless to me since you can't see over ledges and such. I mean come on guys, its not like the Holy Grail or anything.

@ZanderArch

Pfff......you don't fire the SA-7 right away...
I usually tease it at start, then I can determine if the pilot is aware of what the lock-on warning means or he just thinks, its another inaccurate RPG being aimed at him..plus, most of the Cobras dont have gunners, so he cant even defend himself...
Plus, flares can be totally useless, if you know, how to shoot down something ;)

Look for a squad with someone named "Outlawz7" in it, Ill be glad to be your SA-7 sensei :p
