if you had the javelin on vehicles only it would be a cool addition i think.. much easier to spot and shoot a vehicle... handheld javelin would be a *****..

MILAN is still used on WMIKs until we can design a pintel mount for Javelin, with a suspension system in it.
Problem is that the Javelin sighting and targeting system is actually a CRT, mirrors and prisms. Easily damaged if attached to a vehicle and driven off-road.

How is it too damn powerful when it's not even in game yet, and if it does get in PR it's so simple to balance it out ... make it a pick up kit, 1 per map, limit ammo, long reloading time etc...
Any back to the topic this is a great idea the us had their humvees with TOW's we can have our land rovers with MILAN's

add's a bit of variation.

I forgot the bit where seeing a YouTube video qualified you to draw full conclusion on how unbalanced, powerful and unskillful you can be and still use the weapon to scary effect
Let's leave that to the
testers, will we?

The Javelin was in a test build for .5. Was deemed way f*cking overpowered as it would hit whatever it wanted beyond visual range. No way to even it out.

It can be fired from a STATIONARY vehicle, either from a mount or by hand (as a previous pic showed in this thread), and from buildings etc, as long as they have a backblast clearance
The Javelin we have from Satcom is a lil buggy, but afaik we will be looking deeper into it in future versions
Any more questions, just ask.

Wouldn't a javelin on a landrover be a little difficult? Surely the vehicle is too small and unstable for it? It's a light vehicle, unlike the humvee which is quite a bit bigger, heavier and usually armored.

Nope. MILAN is slightly larger than the Javelin system, and both end up at around the same weight with batteries, LTAs and sighting system ready to fire.
