MG36 doesn't have quick barrel changing capability, either... piece of junk compared to pure bred machineguns.

Mg3 is still in use they use it in iraq and afganistan i saw a video once. There where danish marines in afganistan that had a firefight against the insurgents.

Well, all the other teams have 5.56 guns with high ROF so seems kind of unfair to give mec a 7.62 NATO with an even higher ROF. I'd stick with the HK21 and leave the MG3 for PoE.

Aysymetic balance is the name of the game. Rest assured, if the MEC do get the MG3 the other factions will have something just as powerful or possibly several less powerful things that add up to be as powerful as such an addition, and it may well be something entirely different from a mounted MG.

Dont forget that mounted MGs are very limited in thier usefulness. For most maps most people already know thier locations so anyone manning it will either be quickly eliminated or avioded.

Yeah the whole mounted weapon thing could do with a bit of an overhaul. What with it being 2am though I have absolutely nothing creative to say on the matter and merely showing support for its redevelopment... *yawn*

is there any possiblities that the team could ask about permisson too use POE mg3? or isnt that allowed and then you change the sound on it too a bit more realistic.

god i love the MG3 pick up kit in PoE2.

Absolutely no flash suppression, extremely loud, large numbers of tracers, 7.62 rounds if Jesus man came during the rapture and was part of NRA, hed be carrying one of those!!!!!!

Its a possibility, if PR get permission, but what use is a modern german support weapon in a game that has neither germans or anyone that uses the MG3?

well, MEC are using the g3 , and AFAIK , only iran and saudid arabia use those guns , and no one of those countrys is in PR

Personally I'd say a weapon not only in use, but produced by 3 nations in the region warrants its use by the MEC.

MG3s for the MEC!
