Lets bring it back on topic then.
A MBT map with only MBTs and no buildings or Forests would be awesome for all us tank lovers!
Just try to imagine how cool it would be to try out a Spear Formation
on the move with like 5 tanks!
MMM
TANKS

And then watching as the front tank gets shot, and all the voices on VOIP pipe up
"OMFG, WERE ALL GONNA DIE!, JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST!"
id pay to see 4 tanks driving around like mad with shells exploding all around them.

Have the devs ever considered a dynamic reticule on western tanks to simulate automatic lead and maybe LRF trajectory adjustments?
Could probably edit a HUD from some aircraft to do that, also that might enable the reticulation pattern to stay at the right size relative to the zoom and not appear as 2D overlay that's un affected by zoom, thereby loosing the values between the intervals when zooming.

Tanks are yummy but don't forget thoose D.C heroes (like myself) who like to use the TOW/BRDM type vehicles. Also LAVs, IFVs, Ridges (in map) and beautiful statics of wrecked stuff.

Which BF2 map is it with like 10 arty pieces or so? whatever it's name is you'd need that much for it to be any use.
While I'm off topic talking about arty is the width of a barrage hardcoded?
And back on topic do epic tank battles even occur anymore?
