alternate insurgent spawning

One of the best ideas I saw lately.
Spawn Cars are so frustrating. People Jihhad them all the time, or just drive them straight at the enemy. Not to mention that there are only few places on the map where they cant be seen from the air or by USMC commander.
Giving Insurgents the possibility to spawn in buildings or basements would be great.

To take this a step further (and make the Devs life more difficult) I would like it that if a flag is capped by the Brits/US the spawn cars/random spawn points in a set radius would not respawn well under their control. If the insurgents recap the flag then the ban could be lifted. I guess this is along the lines of the rules for placing rally points in the beta that got dropped, so maybe not a popular idea

Although this idea has merits, I see one thing that would improve it. The rally point needs to self-destruct every 15 seconds and respawn 100m closer to the nearest tank or APC, each time having a larger, glowing "shoot-me" sign over it.
Oh no, my mistake, that is how the spawn cars work now ;P
(Seriously though, good idea).

The verbal brutality found on forums is often reminiscent of the physical brutality found in first person shooters, except that forums allow those with slower reflexes to join the carnage without a handicap.

Ya, that really does actually sound realistic. Especially when you think about random locations in a city or.... a clown car full of insurgents. I've also played 0.6 and the spawn cars have 8 (I think) positions which when i spawned in on it looked really crowded. In the bak seat it looks like a car full of Immigrants.

the idea is workable, just takes some work. it's a good idea .. spices things up. something we'll evaluate for a future release.
we currently have random weapon cache locations.. those could be made into spawn points, but that would create too many spawn points and also have problems with spawn camping in Insurgency mode, so we'd have to do a separate object as a spawn point.

Yeey...
Well, 0.6 did get rid of scumbags wasting spawn cars...played 0.5 this evening, there was a Jihad squad, and everytime they went jihading, you saw a white dot moving on the spawn map...
Altough, 0.6 gets rid of that factor, but the other team can still hunt the spawn cars down. Hopefully this will get decreased, when commander loses his commander screen zoom.
So yeah, we need an alternative spawn system besides spawn cars...

I think if got a good idea for sorting out spawn cars. This idea seem so obvious it has probably been suggested before. Make it so only insurgent officers can move them. Im talking only about spawn cars here, not the others. I can see a number of advantages to this.
1. Gives the insurgent officers more tactical control. because at the moment they serve no real purpose. And giving the fact in insurgency mode they give away more intel the disadvantages out weight the advantages.
2. Will hopefully make the insurgent officer kit more popular, at the moment alot of people dont even know it exists let alone use it.
3. This is the most important reason for me. Noobs cant use them as personal transport and get them all killed within 10 min of the map starting. They will be forced to use other cars which is what they are there for.
BTW I like the idea of alternative spawns. But I thought I would just put this in here instead of making a new thread.
