Sandbag base for commander assets

That's what I was thinking. If that was possible, you could have a base of sandbags 20 stories high below the commander asset - it would all be beneath the terrain.

Then wouldn't a sandbag be 20 stories high, show up on a cliff?
Or if somehow, it were able to spawn in mid air.

No, all of the sandbags would be underground except the bottom of the actual asset..The 20 stories of sandbags would be a pre-cautionary measure to ensure there are no "floating assets" if that object happened to be placed on a slope.

Then you would place it on the roof of a building and the sandbags would be inside the building, same for bridges.

I dont think you'd need it that big because if it was that high then you'd be building things on cliffs and you can't even stand on the side of them.

but I think that a good idea, for every commander asset. when i dropped a bunker on a hill it looked pretty bloody stupid. just make the edges a little deeper, say double its height in depth. Read it closely, it makes sense.

We'll you got me there, maybe they could have it where it is only built on terrain or certain areas..

this must be possible, doesn't the stuff in the sandbox mod for bf2 have fittable structures that fits to the ground on drop.
