That's what I was thinking. If that was possible, you could have a base of sandbags 20 stories high below the commander asset - it would all be beneath the terrain.DarkTalon wrote:I might be thinking in a different engine but is it possible to move the "origin" of the model to the bottom of the command emplacement?

No, all of the sandbags would be underground except the bottom of the actual asset..The 20 stories of sandbags would be a pre-cautionary measure to ensure there are no "floating assets" if that object happened to be placed on a slope.El_Vikingo wrote:Then wouldn't a sandbag be 20 stories high, show up on a cliff?
Or if somehow, it were able to spawn in mid air.

Then you would place it on the roof of a building and the sandbags would be inside the building, same for bridges.brianFL1 wrote:No, all of the sandbags would be underground except the bottom of the actual asset..The 20 stories of sandbags would be a pre-cautionary measure to ensure there are no "floating assets" if that object happened to be placed on a slope.

I dont think you'd need it that big because if it was that high then you'd be building things on cliffs and you can't even stand on the side of them.daranz wrote:That's what I was thinking. but I think that a good idea, for every commander asset. when i dropped a bunker on a hill it looked pretty bloody stupid. just make the edges a little deeper, say double its height in depth. Read it closely, it makes sense.
