I don't think so El Vikingo. You don't have to be hostile to suggesters as a rule, you know (only the ones that don't use the search!).
The M16 is the worst AR IMO in 0.6.
It has no optics for the rifleman kit, it has a significantly smaller caliber than the G3, a slightly smaller caliber than the QBZ-95, it doesn't have the almost suppressed sound advantage of the QBZ-95, *and* it only fires in three round burst and single auto. Personally I like using full-auto for CQB, and the small pause between bursts, combined with hitbox detection problems, makes the M16 weak in my eyes.
I understand the need for realism, and so I think that until the Army with their M4s come in, or something else happens to balance the US team, we should look to vehicle loadout balancing measures to provide an asymmetric balance.

There is no jamming in the game anyway. These days the AK-47 is outclassed by most weapons. Yes it is very reliable but so are many other designs such as the G36, FN-FNC, AK-74M.
Today's M16 and M4 are quite reliable in most conditions but in Iraq which has some really awful sand it needs a ton of cleaning from what I have read.

IMO the only necessary change to the M16 is a skinnier blade sight, other than that the M16 is accurately portrayed in-game.
The reason why M16 seems weak compared to other rifles is because the M16 is a very balanced rifle, and the other rifles focus on more specific traits

We have repeatedly stated that optical sights are coming for the M16A4. We have never stated that the M16A4 will be full automatic, because as issued to US troops, it is not.
