99.99% sure.

You should be droping out of the sky when you cross the deck.
I also never use more than half the runway on Basra.
in BF42 i could lang with no power

This "n00b-wire" is something that is needed if we do make a carrier (not just a little s***y WASP.) For the reason you go full throttle in case you miss, you just go around and try again.

IT CAN'T HAPPEN...
you would clip the object and end up blowing up...

When practicing with our USEF air-wing in tournament (and i hardly ever fly alas). We were putting two aircraft down behind one another on the main deck, and manevering them both on the deck at the same time for turnaround to take off again.
There is no way i want a "n00b-wire" to make carrier landings any more "gamey" or "arcadey" than they already are.
Would be more useful to have someone sat on the carrier or in the airport (as we often do) Telling people if the "pattern is full" "wreckage on the runway" "runway damaged" etc. "noobs parking humvees on the runway" etc.
Along with Fuel-Stops Required, and all the lengthy reload and repair times needed for realism.
Dude, have you played .6? You need a lot of runway space to land.

Plus the Wasp class is for the marines isn't it? And the devs are wanting to make the US focus to be entirely on the army eventually as far as I've heard.

Anyone else remember when they added the massive carrier to desert combat, it was sooo awsome you could fly around inside it and everything
Dont think we need one for this though.

If im not mistaken, the current US carrier ( US Essex? ) is made up of 4 major blocks that are NOT easy to edit... so if we want to make an object 2x the size were looking at a lot of work o.o
Lines to slow down jets are a nice idea, IF and ONLY IF there is a map where we have a custom carrier and IF they are even possibly ( hardcoded

)
Personally I would be avoiding making a map with a carrier and .6 jets, though it is very possible to land on the carrier with a jet ( Going FUCKING slow as hell trust me you can land anywhere ) .... its nearly impossible to back up ( Ok im going to back up now... la dee la, throttle down ZOOM! ) and nearly impossible to find the re-arming sweet-spot even on maps like kashan.
Good idea, lots of work. imho

Im sure there is someone out there with the time to model a carrier.
Not me or any member of the dev team though.
Want a carrier, model it yourself.

New carrier, make sure it is a future carrier project (CVF) in service in the next 5-10 years for the Royal Navy. F35 equipped, so compatible with US forces too. Could even be used for USMC maps. The carrier is much larger than the current UK carriers, similar to the current carrier-fleet of the USA
