I don't think adding the "deploy" ability is really "real". Most of the time the bipods are left in the deployed position when the operator is expecting to have to hit the deck and engage contacts. Thats why I wasn't fond of the way Americas army portrays the M249 (that and its like a laser gun with all the tracers they put in it). Speaking of tracers it would be nice if the blackhawk miniguns had them to assist in aiming...back on topic.

I was talking to a Marine who used M249 and thats what he told me. I think what needs to be done is make it so during the time period laying down you can't fire (or while crawling forward). Right now when you see someone lay down it shows their weapon fling around and they sometimes do a roll or something but on their screen its perfectly forward and accurate. Haveing the ability to instantly stand-up, lay down and be perfectly accurate while doing it is wrong.

This is only the second release so I'm sure the .3 or a .25 will have this stuff polished.

Juts give a lmg/mmg carrier less recoil and more accuracy when prone, and hell, get rid of the camera shaking!!! You can't even hit a guy with one shot at 20m.

Let's just say when the guy with the big gun is prone, the gun is deployed. And don't add recoil endlessly with every shot. After a certain amount of shots the "barrel raise" will be neutralised by the weight of the gun itself. Even when standing. I'm sure most of the guys who have been shooting out there know what i mean. You can stop the barrel raise just with holding the gun down with your arm, sure you almost can't hit anything with fullauto at bigger ranges...but thats's another point. But machine guns are made to do so, and therefor they are heavy.
He who fights and runs away can run away another day.
