(I want to be a pilot when I´m older, play flight simulator etc...), but I probably need to practise a bit with the PR ones, and get a new joystick. mmmmmm x52 *drool* I probably like the A-10 best, but I haven´t had a chance to try in many other jets. I wonder if the devs could include an offline jet practise map, with all the jets and helicopters included, and targets, something like kashan with some rearranged objects. :D

One thing though, I HATE the blackhawk, the controls for me are horrible, I can hardly fly it, but the little bird I love!
wow! awesome. I rarely get a 'pilot squad' working. Lucky man haha.

if you ever want someone to practice with, on an empty server, add me to xfire under the nickname 'cneb3000'

'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino']bare in mind thats IF we can get it to work.

If all else fails, can´t it be a little red hot "object" that missiles can lock onto? I see in kashan in the smoke you lock onto stuff. :-?

Ah, I don´t have xfire, might try to get it, but that sounds great!
And I wouldn´t say the squad worked that well, but we had a few good members (one kept leaving and returning). Had to be the squad leader through half of it. Nothing like getting shot down, and then saying "commander requests strafing runs on south village" "roger that".

I actually ran over a sniper, least I think it was a sniper, running across the open desert in Kashan the other day :p I was hugging the ground as low and as fast as I could, and thought to myself, this will look great to the person running across the desert, and bam!! all I heard was thump and that ughh! sound, looked at my score and I was like -8

Yea, I often use that smoke to get out of dangerous situations (i.e. being chased by TWO migs). I'm glad it's there sometimes :)

ye, the basic theory to it is you have the SOFLAM "fire" a heat sig that only these bombs can pick up, this heat sig would be "sticky" and stick to the object you point it at. thou all attempts on this in the past have been pretty buggy :p

Ah jets. I really need to learn how to fly them. An LB vs a MiG 29 just isn't fair :p (eh, rhino). Mind you a coordinated squad setting up airstikes can be pretty damn fun!

Or just luring those damn jets over some nice, freindly AAA. Had an ecxelent squad of pilots yesterday on Kashan, you lads were some of the best! Mafia, Moose and Val, damn you guys are good pilots. Sad that my skills with the linebacker couldn't match them, eh? Mind you, I'd no autocannon for most of that match as it wouldn't reload :x . Not that its much use in taking down jets anyway :p

"Fox one"
Pilot:
"Impact"
me:
"good shooting!"

:D

its a hard target to hit when flying at thous speeds, and having such a small time to aim and a small target to hit, then when you do hit it pull up in time so you dont ram it :p

no heat sig on a LB :p

Is that what your man said during sex Rhino? ;) "It's hard to hit a small target" :p

I'm joking. BTW, we all know what's better than a jet. Transformers! My favourite would be the Tornado GR4 (Transformer Corps).

I dont remember a GR4 transformer! Now F15s, they were awesome (apart from starscream). And there was an F16 and Harrier too, IIRC. And some other stuff. Damn, Transformers was good, back in G1. 8-)

the jet in my sig is a GR4, its wings fold back ;)

Your sig is not a transformer, let alone a G1 transformer!

Ah, when Al Kufra turns into a discussion about transformers you know its going to be a good round :D

Why the hell are you wasting your time here Inspector Rhino?! :o

THEY FOLD BACK? REALLY?! WOW. Maybe you should go and investigate why supermodels marry old billionaires! Quickly go! Your powers are wasted on us!

For the good of the Community! :p

Anyway, jets are cool, are they not?

The one thing I don't like about modern jets is that they don't look "fast". Back in the old days they looked like they were doing 100mph standing still (things like the lightning, MiG-21, Mirage III, etc) where as modern ones look rather static.

Like the F-22. Maybe it has some amazing stuff and neat tricks, but it looks like..... a bit of a sap.

The A-10, now there's something you hear, you look up, you see....... your heart sinks. Unless you're on the other side
