Just want to say this:

Reading the stupidity and nonsense writen on the CDU forum, I took some
time to get registered on there forum intending to kick so 15 yeard old
minded asses. Then, realising that at 50, this kind of bullshit is just not
productive and positive, and that giving those asshat more attention
(exposure) was realy too much for what they realy worthed, I just decided
to lay down. You know: Never discuss with stupid people.They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

For me the best thing is:
1- What you did for distribution of your code for servers.
2- Open a sticky where to post servers that dont follow your rules.
3- Open a paypall link for fans who want to assist you.

We had anough of EA's politics to make life difficult for modders,
without having a bunch of stupids to make more problems.
And to you CDU's, just get lost, go play with something else.
This community needs you as much as sand in a condom...

You have to forgive me but I always wonder about people who idolize Nazis.
I know there is a difference between shutzen and einsatzgruppen but the question always needs to be asked.
If you don't like it , perhaps finding an idol that is not closely referenced to the murder of millions of people would cause less problems and potential insults.

I'm curious ....would PR allow nazi avatars ?

There is a difference between being in a unit that killed prisoners and running a concentration camp or rounding up people to be exterminated.
The Allies did not have charges like that brought against them or there would have been a number of our officers and NCOs that were convicted.
I'm sure the firebombing of Dresden would come to mind as one act that could have been prosecuted.
I am biased.
I like reading about the Wermacht and tactics and equipment but I am not a supporter of nazi theories.
I have been sucked in by people who I thought were of a similar mindset only to find that they were closet nazis but didn't have the balls to say what they felt.
Anything to do with that regime or that time is tainted and must be looked at twice.
But what I found laughable was the indignation that CDU showed at having one of their members insulted after pages of trashing PR, the community and the DEVs.
The inclusion of a personal experience like being a disabled war veteran is a transparent play to appeal to the emotions and as such drags into question the level of maturity of someone who would do that.

Frankly, I'm pissed off.
These clowns are going to delay the release and in all likely hood they will find away around the restrictions anyway.
So in the end we get to wait because CDU had to wave theirs around and prove nobody can tell them what to do.
That is not mature and I'm not really concerned about the level of discourse or the language involved.
The world revolves around me and I will be inconvenienced by CDU so therefore I do not like CDU.

You can't win an argument with a toddler over the internet, if you prove them wrong it becomes a slagging match. Always best to just ignore them.

ADA, I'd be happy to discuss Peiper with you, but not in the thread regarding Server Modding. I suggested you start a thread, read Micheal Reynolds book on Peiper and we can debate it. Talk about what he did and didn't do. His conviction and subsequent release from prison. His role in and the facts around Malmedy and his exceptional combat leadership skills. However, this thread nor the one on our server are the medium for that discussion. So instead, just flame me. That's fine too. But please flame me with fact that are correct.
