Umm kinda offtopic the only reason we got the beaches were because the mgs in the pill boxes overheated in 6 seconds.

Many. They won several wars in the middle ages, and where THE feared Super power until the Swiss found a way to counter their heavy cavalry. They also survived four years of WWI, and only really quit because they ran out of things to fight with.

but napoleon managed to kick the austrians out of Italy. and france at that time was alone against all so we fared well. And napoleon did some great stuff on non military subjects for example he put down the basis of french law. but lets stop derailing the thread. the main problem with the french army is that it hasn't got itself in a major conflict for a while and seems to be losing credit in the world.

Guys you're all missing the point, which is that making fun of France's military is funny.

well not if you're french.
