I've seen new players to PR that are quite accomplished BF2, but just don't know all the in's and out's. I've been on servers where they are treated with little or no respect just because they ask how or where to request a kit. Now I know what you going to say RTFM! While I agree with that there is still much value in somebody showing you around so to speak.
I'm definately putting my name down as a trainer!
I hope you all find this idea appealing...if not I'm ready for you!!!
Last night I logged on for the very first time... I had NOT looked at the manual b/c I wanted to play which is the general concept behind a game. I wanted to see if it was worth the huge d/l, and the hype.
Guess who I found on the server, non other than Sun Tzu, guess who was kind enough to help me? Thats right...Sun Tzu, he walked myself and at least 4-5 others through various processes. I APPRECIATED IT VERY MUCH, AND FOUND THE CONCEPT OF TRUE TEAMWORK VERY VERY INTRIGUING. Unlike BF2, there were no retards tking for a jet, b/c they couldn't get in one w/o kit, and no running around like headless chickens doing little to serve the objectives.
So I for one, support this idea, especially as a means to really building a cohesive team, for example, say as a server/trainer develops members, if they like them and see their skills develop, they could become members of permanent squads....and clans. They would train on a regular basis and become gods on the battle field.
So guess what? With sun Tzu's kind help and assistance, I will go back for more, here's hoping I can find him on a server again as I forgot the name of the one we were on last nite.
oh and BTW after I logged out, I printed the guide and read it before bed, so now I have trained and now I have studied and now I am going to kill you.
