Despite the fact that it's "inhumane" to use, the only thing that miffed me off was that it was used in a civilian/urban environment. ANYway, let's keep from that side of it.

It would be pretty cool if we could implement it, although it might affect latency in the way flamethrowers tend to...

It could work the same way as the barriers maybe? Use the same "health goes down" effect, only make it more malicous, but make it last as long as a smoke nade, maybe a tad less. I can't see it causing more lag than smoke nades. Maybe as a small hint to what it is... smoke nades could be coloured? A lot tend to use green and red for different reasons (normally to signal to aircraft), but maybe grey could be the regular colour insead of white? and WP will be pure white. It may not be noticable at a quick glance but if you take the time to look you should work out if it's going to hurt you or not if you walk through it!

Shouldn't it emit light, though? As opposed to just being pure white I mean, it should work like an ambient white glow or something.
