Just make a limited civi spankage kit ofc.charliegrs wrote:but seriously how would you implement shotguns? would you give them to every soldier? that wouldnt be realistic at all.
Or make an MP kit. With shotgun which shoots rubber bullets. If a civi gets shot by a rubber bullet he would have blurred vision and couldn't sprint. Also to I think it would be neato if you could arrest insurgents.Just make a limited civi spankage kit ofc.
Best idea yet! Could this be implemented by somehow copying the effects of being severely damaged, minus the impending death?nillazsuck wrote:Or make an MP kit. I like the idea of handcuffs. (lol not in that way) I think its a reasonable suggestion and looks like it would be easier to code than most other suggestions. The civilians already die when you 'capture' them with a knife, so the only big thing to add is new handcuff models, and make it have exactly the same function on a civilian as a knife does at the moment. I share your hope of the civilians hands to me locked behind his back/head as well. (makes me think of Garry's Mod. I think you could do that to ragdolls in Garry's.)charliegrs wrote: when the civ is "hit" with the cuffs, he would be arrested, {actually he would die because it would take all his hit points like the knife does right now} very important though, is when he gets hit with the cuffs and "dies" that there be no blood, which i know is possible because there is no blood when you die in vanilla BF2. this would make it look more like he just got tackled and cuffed and not killed. then his body would lay there and disappear after a while.
