Theres nothing wrong with the mirrors as Camelot said...I got mine from there and it works fine. If it aint working for you go for torrent. As someone said Utorrent seems to be the most popular client to use.

And for the future, how about less attitude when asking community members for assistance? Just seems a bit...well...rude tbh.

Manners cost f**k all as they say...

I downloaded mine from Fileplanet with their download manager. I did subscribe to them for one year, but I think you can still use it unsubscribed can't you? You just get slower servers or queues etc.

Never had a problem with it that way. If the problem lies with IE then it's because perhaps it can't handle such a large file download.

I use download managers for anything fairly big or that I'd want to pause/resume. Aren't there any links you can use Getright with or sth like that?

That's much easier than setting up a torrent program on a PC if you've not done that before.

Hey man, how much free space do you have on your Hard Drive..from your last post it sounds like you are running low on space(PR is a big install)? What's the size of your page file(Right-Click on My Computer>Properties>Advanced>Performance Settings>Advanced)? How much ram do you have (related to page file size).

I used Download Accellerator Plus http://www.speedbit.com/, its a decent program for pulling large files.

It sounds like you could have some problems with your PC, or at least its possible. If its convienient, try running an adware scan using Ad-aware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007/3000-8022_4-10708241.html?tag=lst-0-1

i have over a gig and a quarter's worth of RAM and I recently got an external HD with over 300gb...I am SERIOULY doubting it's a memory problem, and again, PR installation has worked fine for me in the past, twice, both times I had less RAM and disk space

well did you delete the previous versions of PR.

i dont see how that would give me a corruption error when attempting to install.

Do you have some friend living close to you that is playing PR aswell (or willing to dowload the file for you) ?

If you do, then ask him do burn the installation on a DVD and try to install it from it.
This way you can be sure, that problem is not caused by corrupted download.

Sir, please try this site TV2 download. I have tried torrent, and after about 23 downloads in total since 0.32 they have all been corrupt. This baby worked after one try.

Give it a go.

Hey bunny, whats up with your disk space? You didn't answer my question. How much harddrive space do you have locally? I'm not reffering to your external HD....external Drives should only be used for storage, not installations, pagefiles or possibly even such large downloads as PR (it brings in extra components that could be causing your download to corrupt if you are downloading to external drive...maybe a faulty USB port etc etc). So you need to make sure your main hard drive has about 10 gigs free and that you are downloading PR directly to your local hard drive....not your external drive. Also whats the size of your pagefile...just checking to be safe. Work with me and we'll figure this out.

For future reference, don't use IE to download files that are 1.5GB or larger as they will corrupt. You must use FF or torrents for large files.
