I dunno if this applies to PR physics, but in a traditional guns-only fight, you WANT your bandit to 'evade' as you say. You want to force him to maneuver, to turn, wasting energy, leaving him low and slow. As long as you anticipate his moves, maintain your E, and he's not turning towards another group of bandits, you're still in control of the fight. At the very least you're keeping him from doing his job. I don't know how realistic the flight models are in PR though.

Theres no gravity or air resistance applied to PR dogfighting so traditional evasion doesn't work. Essentially, all missiles have a "no-escape zone" of 0 degrees, which never happens. Fighters can always out turn your missiles and guns (with a 6 second turn rate, that makes sense).

by the way, anyone else having a hard time taxi-ing with keyboard?

with just on/off throttle control I go too fast and then there are no reverse throttle

2nd question, once you have one wing touching the group can you still fix it?

Yeah, you don't use K/B to taxy. You use the mouse.

But I agree that communication is important but the military talk is too much for most players.
We need air traffic controllers.
Easy way,...make a pass over the runway to see if it's clear.
I'm always happy to go ATC for a squad, give me a kit with binoculars and a good vantage point over the airfield combined with a flying squad and I'm pretty happy, usually useful too...

1. Use the up and down arrow keys to taxi and use A and D to turn while taxiing. The W and S keys are for flight only.

2. I.. erm.. don't understand your question.

Good luck on re-writing the guide. If you need any opinion on flying Fix-Winged CAS Aircraft I can help. I'm positive CAS_117 knows quite a bit as well ;-)
