I thought of this ages ago, but my full idea is, i think impossible. It would mean having 3 spec ops max on a full 64, but forcing them to be in the same squad and somehow not allowing SL spawning, forcing realistic insertion missions and covert tactics to keep alive behind enemy lines and simuating a small spec ops team requiring alot of teamwork.

Obviously these guys would be pretty mean when it came time for the fireworks, for loadout i thouht:

auto carbine
bodyarmour as well as full sprint (to simulate the extra training elite forces go through)
1 C4
2 SLAMs
3 field dressing (simulating increased surivial/aid training)
SOFLAM.

Devasting for CO assets and bridges. But alas, i feel that without forcing them into one squad they would be used by john rambo and wasted.

BF2 guys are mostly lamers because they only know how to spawnkill.
So in other situation like in PR they need a hand that help and lead them.
Really ? I come from BF2 , and I may say that SF guys are mostly clay/nade whores ( Palace ) and spawnkillers ( SAS paradrop point , Warlord )

If you were cool grunt in BF2 , you will easily adapt to PR gameplay and do ok . If you were vanilla armour spawncamper ( and so on ) - of cource you will fail in PR as it is about 80% infantry combat .

Back to the thread : yes , in SF conditions Palace from SF would be nice .

No way . Claymores symbolize vanilla noobs for me ( and for many others too ).

Come on, PR claymore is not quite like vBF2 claymore.

By the way, the red skull is hard coded right?
Otherwise it would be great to differentiate between C4, mine, SLAM, etc.

Why..? You cant just spam claymores in PR the same way you can in BF2.

2) Did you guys remove claymores from PR? If yes, WHY?! I was really awesome to use the riffleman antipers kit and lay some clays next to a road and ambush bypassing cars.

3) Aren't nades supposed to kill everyone in a 15-20 meters radius in real life? I know that this would be a little nasty in PR but i still think that nades in PR should have a kill radius of like 10 meters.
I'll give this a little bump :D Nades should be more powerfull coz now you can survive when someone throws a nade in your bunker on Mestia. 7-8m kill radius would be great.

Can a DEV come here and answer me on my claymore question? :) (Will they be in 0.7?)

love the idea! But what would really be awesome would be a whole new gameplay mode like "hostage" or something (hostages=bots) and you have to clear rooms etc to get them before the time runs out. Maybe even a special "army" (SAS)

@OP
1. Already got a Palace (Muttrah V2 custom built by Rhino (i think))

2. fk off

3. U already got some, what more do u need, hash bombs?

reasons have already been given by Outlawz @ 2nd post

Kill radius on an M-68 frag is 5 meters and it's 30 meters for wound radius. Not to say you couldn't still die if your 6 meters from a grenade but it's not 100% especially if you're in the prone position.

Clays were remote detonated, just like C4... How do they pose more danger to friendlies than C4??

nooo!

because more statics will reveal themselves in further releases, just be patient.

And this claymore argument is completely off topic
