Anyone else experiencing bugs with this new laser-guided stuff? Sometimes the box just decides to go left and right across the screen. Other times the box just disappears.

When the box is moving across your screen, that's yourself watching your Squad Leader in the process of marking the target with a laser.
The box disappears because laser marks only last a certain amount of time to my knowledge, and when that time expires, so does the box.
Hope I clarified things for you.

After some testing with fellow [T&T] member, Sergeant_Banner, the correct use of Laser-Guided Missles is as follows:
Have a Spec Ops or Officer left click on a vehicle whilst zoomed in with his SOFLAM, the box will shift and 'lock' for 15 seconds before re-lase needs to take place.
Once the lase is established, come in to the target at any angle you wish so long as you are 500+ meters away on approach; you'll get a lock on. As soon as you hear that tone, open fire and your missle will make a B-line to the target, 110% accuracy.
To sum up:
1.) A target must be lased.
2.) Approach from 500m+ to gain an accurate lock.
3.) Once a lock-on is established, fire!

Just for any curious people; GPS bombs work in much the same way, except your altitude must be above 500. Once a target is lazed, and you are flying across it at 500+ altitude, you won't see a lock on box, but you will hear someone say "I've got a lock" - Drop your bomb straight away, and again, 110% accuracy!
If I can just add for bombers, YOU ARE NOT FIGHTER JETS, your purpose is to circle above the clouds and come in when requested to swoop, kill and disappear - For that reason, I would not recommend flying any lower than 1000m (200m above cloud-line) in order to avoid AA, and remain silent when bombing (Yes you can still bomb accurately at 1000m)

Might I add that the Spec Ops DOES NOT have to be the squad leader to laser the target. You just have to be the squad leader to issue the message, "Sending Laser Target Now". As a squad member and Spec Ops, you are still able to laser sucessful targets to CAS aircraft to lock onto.
Lasor moving target

For those of you having a hard time getting the laser to "stick" to a moving target and I'm guessing thats just about everyone,
I find it helpful to think of the targets hit box as riding on top and slightly behind of the model(tank or what ever) like a camper on a pickup truck.
To get the laser to "stick", shoot the laser in front of the target and a little high so the top of the "camper) hits it. You have to lead the target as well because the laser is so slow.
Laser lasts 30 sec. now
You want the green box to stop right in front of the targets path.
If you do it right the hit box will drag the laser box along with it(stick).
If its to low the hit box just runs over it leaving it behind.
You'll get a much better feel for it when you see it happen through your binoculars.
Hopefully the laser will get faster and stick better in 8.
Remember to place an attack marker on the target to help aircraft line up your target if they're in your squad or ask the commander to place one of his on top of yours for the squad with aircraft to see.
CAS markers only show on the map, so pilots must check their maps to see them, not as a 3d icons pilots can see across the map even when they're at 2500+ feet in total whiteout.
Spotters(officer,marksman,SF and sniper kits) always have to manually spot targets (to get em on the mini map for all to see)and should be done first thing, then set a attack marker(squad leaders without the officer kit can still spot targets on the map as long as they have binoculars in their kit).
Only armor units can still "auto" spot,BUT that doesn't guaranty it gets on the map.
You need to check and manually spot targets if auto spot fails.
Planes need to stay out of sight in the clouds to avoid getting shot down, so having a 3d marker placed accurately lets them drop down right on your target to kill it then "disappear" back up it the sky till you need them again.
The commander and the rest of the team DEPEND on "spotters" doing their job for situational awareness of the battlefield.

you just have to tap it fast and it will only fire 1 missile. Also i've had some lol moments firing all 4 missiles at the same time, one atvantage with that is that you know anythin within a 300m radius is dead that way

that tap has to be shorter than 66ms, otherwise it will fire another.
(it fires 15 missiles a second, 900 a minute)

How do you laser designate correctly? I mean, not how, but I always end up going so fast, and I dive, then I suddenly crash. If I slow down, I cannot speed up, and I crash anyways. same with bombing targets.
