The USMC uses the Huey for it's scout craft.

Well I'd love to have a go of one of those, I hope they have a bit more armour to them. What would the brits use, the merlin again?

Looks familiar. Would like to see it in game, IF the UK Army (Is it the UK's army, or does each nation in the UK have their own?) fields it often.

They use the Gazelle for scouting, the Lynx can scout but it's mainly in the anti-tank role.

The Gazelle spots the target and guides the Lynx on.

Anyone got a tip for landing the damn LB? It tends to flip over more than i like it too

Take it easy. When you're landing, nobody is shooting at you, so take it slow.

If you touch the ground with any sort of side-to-side motion it seems that you WILL flip over. The only way to correct it is to exit the helicopter as soon as you notice it beginning to tip over. Rough terrain that causes your heli to roll any amount on landing will also cause it to flip. So unless you are landing on a road or rooftop, you're better off just hovering.

Yep. Stay out of combat zones, stay out of rough areas.

How do you get it upright? I've tried everything when that happens to me, it never works.
The LB is so hard to control :( I use a joystick (because I thought I would try it like the real thing) but Im starting to think mouse and keyboard would ultimately be better. All the other choppers I can handle fine though.

That definetly seems like something that should be fixed in the next version in my opinion =/ It's very random. Sometimes I can have the slowest landing ever and it will still flip over as soon as I touch down, and sometimes I can fly in and pretty much land at pretty high speed and it does not flip over.

I once landed on a bridge and it flipped over, fell in the water LOL. Good thing no one got on yet.

Sorry for double post.

It's hard to upright it, unrealalex.

Waaah, if an AT guy ruins your fun, it's because you're in a COMBAT ZONE :)

Turn, press back and pull back on the mouse then exit when its at less then 45 degrees and hope it lands back on its rails

I have the opposite problem: I can't land (or hover very well). I've got my joystick set up, and the choppers were so sensitive that I had to put the sensitivity down as far as it would go. It helped, but not enough. Everytime I try to hover, as soon as my speed goes down, the chopper wobbles all over the place, and it's impossible to avoid over-correction.

That really bugs me, because on FS-X, with realistic settings, sensitivity set on max, null zone nil, I can land those choppers on a dime.
