I was thinking more as you exiting your plane while it is moving and it would simply "run you over." Unless this "ejection seat" is really....really...really fast, you may get trampled by your airplane as it moves forward.

a fastrope where the rope is hanging off the BH, is retractable, is able to be grabbed onto, and ultimately slid down to the ground qualifys as working in my books.
If the exit point of the BH for the passengers is right even with the rope, all you do is double tap E and your on that rope, how hard is that?? If you can do that, why the not implement it??
You could probably get down the rope in under 3 seconds if you use shift+down, and the bird wouldnt even need to land to drop you off, really usefull in urban and tree'd areas/rough terrain.
Plus think about it, if its implemented, no more annoying "plx add fastrops" suggestions...

Honestly I think if fast roping was implemented, nobody would even use it. They'd probably just complain how unreal it is that they have to jump out and regrab onto the rope. Not to mention the pilot would have no idea when you hit the ground so you'd end up with people hanging on to ropes as the pilot flys away, with you ending up dead when you inevitably hit a tree. George of the Jungle style. "Spec, spec, spec ops of PR, fast ro-o-ping. Aieieie-ieieie. Watch out for that APC!"

If they put in fast ropes it would be like the miniguns, idiot heaven. People would be dangling from the ropes while the BH was doing 200mph.

Duh. Thats what everybody would like to see have you seen the amount of times it has been suggested?David.Podedworny wrote:I also had a fastroping idea. It would require the use of a co pilot, See my idea was that the co-pilot would press a button to spawn grapples on the side of the heli which would reach down at least 50m.

like for the tank turret view for example.. we all know there are aimbots out there which can lock on to targets, even to particular points. so why not use it to keep the turret steady to a xyz axis? or turn around the seatarrangement in apc's, so you start off in the last seat, press F1 and drive off.

Or have make people take a quiz on suggestions and forum rules before they post or make a new thread.eddie wrote:People should not be allowed to post a suggestion before reading the entire list of suggestions, twice. Just so it can get into their stupid brain.

OMG! you figured it out, a button!!!! Until now the Devs have been experimenting with levers, switches and cranks but to no avail. A button, how simple yet brilliant, quick some one go tell the Devs.....
Sorry I couldn't help myself, sorry if I offended the poster. I can see a 24H ban coming for this... I repent.
