Best thing you can do is to use the additional md5 hack checks from http://www.punksbusted.com (not the same as punkbuster, but uses PB to tighten security.

If your server is already streaming to punksbusted, then be sure to also grab the md5 updates from the autombl, not just the bans.

Well the hackers just did this on the Tactical Gamer server. Dropped a ton of supply packs.
Is this not somehow related to .6? Never saw this sort of thing in prior PR releases...

It's probably become more popular since .6 was released and has caught the attention of hackers.

That is me.

Basically the idea is you DON'T die and you get a higher score at the end of the round. Simple as that.

I use the A-10 bomber a lot, and naturally I try to help the team the entire round without losing the valuable asset in the game. If you get a really higher K/D ratio and no deaths, you will get a score like this. My highest is something like 3400+ on Zatar Wetlands believe it or not... I never died on that map with the A10, and that is HARD.

Just have to make smart decisions and have people supporting you (F16s).

So if you want a high score like this, get lots of kills and don't die. It's not hacking, cheating, or whatever you call it, it's playing smart. Have a nice day :)

EDIT: As for the tons of supply crates, I've seen that. A shame there are loopholes in this mod, I'm loving PR.

Yeah, people had high K/D ratios on 0.5 Basrah, when in A10 and commander gave them targets.
At least untill Insurgents started using SA-7, that is :p

Sadly, the AA is very easily avoidable in PR, and a plane can get away scott-free. But you have to do it a certain way to assure not getting hit by the missiles. Even SA-7 infantry are usually spotted when I'm in the air and I give myself attack markers (as SL) on them as I am in the air so I can rain hell from above before they even lock on :) .

Kashan is just a death trap for anyone in armor, and I feel their pain to be honest. They drive so far only to die and waste time. I guess their air defenses are to blame.

I'll testify to this.

I had Tweaky in my squad on Kashan a week or so ago. He kept the A10 in the air for most of the map (so much so, we ended up with 2 of them). He wreaked havoc on the enemy. Did both himself and his team proud (and a great score too). Nice work.

Yeah I always breath a sigh of relief because I know that some ham-handed, radar illiterate, moron won't get his paws on the A-10 before Tweaky has swept out the other teams air-defenses. Makes F-16s jobs easier. (Although I think I should get bombs).

It is a very annoying hack and slows down or even crashes the server sometimes. Particularly difficult to track down the culprits too. But we will!
As far as I no it´s not even possible to ban the guys that use that kind of hack. So if you banned one and he was kicked from the server it was definitly the wrong person.
