A sniper per squad would be overkill, but the rest should be OK.
The situation where you and your squad is locked up inside a base with tanks on all sides and some random lone wolfs have taken all of the HAT happens way too often.

But not all PR maps (thankfully) are simple asymmetric warfare. On Qwai for example US is supposed to deal with tanks with infantry. (No tanks, no heavy attack chopper.)
So it comes back to this.
Kit pool should be map dependent not side dependent.

They've got TOW humvees for a reason on Qwai.
And you've got you symmetrical and asymmetrical mixed up.
