While I wouldn't mind the option to choose between scope and iron sights/RDS for the rifleman, at the moment I simply go by the motto "Shoot from the hip. Because aiming is for people with too much time on their hands".

Or I'll dump my normal rifle for a militant kit on Mestia. Because frags + ironsighted AK + body armor = CQB killing machine.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Ah, the officer pistol.

That's saved me many a time when I've been SLing.

I dont.
Why replace when you can supplement? I mean it's not as far fetched as it sounds. The G36 is the successor to the aging G3 so it not unreasonable for the M.E.C to have a few for special units and for children's birthday parties.

Well all the more G36 loving for me.

Im no way up for having the G36 for the mainstay rifle for the MEC, but anything would be better than that HK35 Carbine (the SF one anyway). With no optics or decent sights, lower damage than its brother G3 and just as much recoil as the G3, i can see the G36C POSSIBLY being the weapon for MEC SF, in terms of balance.

G36 is not being introduced, I can't think of a single ME country that uses or plans on using it.

Bob i try to but with most weapons i suck at doing so, I still have this vanilla mentality inside me when i pick up and AK47, AK101, or M16a2 I know where each and every shot will go most of the time, I dont need a crosshair or nothing infact i find the crosshair more of a bother then a help, My favorite Vanilla weapon is the L85a2 for euro force i specialize in getting unzoomed headshots up to 50m, I cant say the same for the other vanilla guns(Aka unlocks) Really it's the PR specific weapons i'm not good at, The L85a2 with susat is hard for me since i dont use the L85a1 much in vanilla infact i hate that gun with a passion! The QBZ-95 is a problem for me too since i never used it's carbine variant the Qbz-97 much. Dont get me wrong guys i'm not saying make PR like vanilla! I absolutely Love PR the way it is.

You know what guys forget it really. This was a stupid suggestion. I just wanted to call attention the Minority of PR players who specialize in CQC. Mods do what you wish all my suggestions have been stupid and only representing the issues of a few.(I may be one speaking for hundreds for all i know)

G36 carbine and M4(A1) counterpart is G36K . G36C is compact\commando weapon , like vietnam era CAR-15's that were issued to crewmen and pilots or soviet AKS-74U ( also issued for crewmen and pilots )
