Backup Ironsights on Scopes

well yes you could do it like that, but please note it would note be the same gun, you would effectively be carrying around 2 ARs with 2 sets of ammo, with one using iron sights and the other with a scope, + you would take up a very valuable spot for something like a nade.

again, with the slug and buckshot bit you are effectively carrying around 2 shotguns, with there own sets of ammo. Never noticed that you dont need to unload the old rounds, then reload the new rounds when you switch and when you run out of ammo with 1 shotgun, just switch to the other for a instant reload of a diffrent shell?
