personaly i find one of the best things to do when sniping is to try to get arround behind where the enemy is comming from and let them run past you. aim your shots carfully before shooting. look arround to see if there are other troops near you fairly often if you dont have a spotter to do this for you. also very important is to listen very carfully for foot steps. if you even think you hear some get down and stay hidden. taking a shot when you suspect someone might be looking for you is a sure way to help them find you.

squad leaders and medics will usually hang back if there is some action ahead so a rear position will allow you more time to place your shot on priority targets lingering in the rear. as an added bonus if they have an rp or bunker there you can make life very difficult for the other team. let them get special kits and then drop em. prevents them from getting better kits for 2 minutes if you kill them a short time after getting a kit. also by being behind them if they lay down an rp or bunker you can tell your team where it is.

take out priority targets first. here is my order medic, squad leader, machine gunners(unmounted then mounted), rifleman-at, riflemen, heavy-at. engineers and crueman have a funny order though. baiscly if the eng is fixing stuff then his priority 3 same for crueman.

lastly and not least at all. you title is SCOUT SNIPER so do both. it going to be very usefull to your team / squad if you tell them whats heading their way so they can deal with it apporopreately and be ready instead of supprised

2 things that I've noticed when hunting down snipers: 1) Moving after killing an enemy will move their death camera (hopefully will be fixed in the next patch :) ) making it much easier to figure out where you are, especially if you're at a distance, where they otherwise might not see you. 2) Never sit on a building that has an archway or has ground below where your sitting (unless no enemies will ever be going under you) your shadow will often be displayed through the building onto the ground below.
