Ah, so THAT'S what happened to that donated server. I was wondering where it went. Didn't know it became GloryHoundz. Good thing

Good games guys, looks like the new server code is handling well, with no lag spikes or anything from the reports I got.

So the new and improved and magical jelly beans Python code is working well? ... What exactly has changed that makes it so 'special'?

Does the new Python code enhance overall performance, or were you talking about the connection to/of the server itself?

Overall code performance and stability.
Will quote the news post:
# Scoring system has been overhauled to encourage more teamwork actions and to fix a few incorrect scoring bugs.
# Fixed a lot of python scripting problems that were causing server and client crashes.
# Python code has been refined significantly to hopefully improve server performance.
# Insurgency mode overhauled, should be working properly now.
We are *hoping* to stop the server crashes, but we are not sure because we need to stress test it. Last night was a good time, with full server, but it didn't last for too many maps to really notice if the crashes are solved.

HEy db,
I noticed some lag while playing qwai river last night. A few of teh DVB'ers had experienced the same and two peopl had disconnects as well... I have never lagged on qwai before?
I dont know if this relevant or not, but I am sure the guys who disconnected can give you better details than my third party account of it.
cheers,
PMEDIC

I'm more preoccupied with server crashes. Client crashes can happen for numerous reasons (the player computer, connection, etc). Also, lag spikes happened before in the new GloryHoundz server, and that also can be related to the server network connection.
But anyways, thx for the report.
