I can see the crew getting rather banged up from that, but, well, I might be no Kennway, but I can't see them dying from that, seeing how the blast was so far away. The tank was probably good for the scrap heap though.

That's, what? 60 tons being thrown 2 3 meters into the air?
Hope the crew survived the ride....
for sure they got a realy bad headache after that :|
the crew wont survive under one condition and thats when the tank is on fire and the shells start to heat up and then blow up the whole tank(and in the meantime the crew are traped inside). and hopefully that did not happened there. :?

In reality a huge battle tank like the Challenger 2 doesn't have the freedom to move its turret in tight areas in between buildings, not unless it wants to damage both the tank and its surroundings. If you remember the insurgent tank in Al Basrah .5 then you’ll remember that the cannon had collisions and you didn’t have the freedom to move the turret while in between buildings; I think it was a lot more realistic than how the EA tanks are setup.
yeah , becasue is very realistic to see tanks exploting in pieces when they move the turret inside a building or a tree or a rock ,etc ,etc .
