Did BRDM-2 really had no optic sight!? Did the engineer had too much vodka?

Ah, all viable options for the world's most out of date arms dealers. :D

Can we have the Bell 47 painted up in WWII German colours so I can play "Where Eagles Dare"? :p

Or US Colours so I can play suicide is painless while flying?

Old Hinds?
Bell 47 with .30 cal brownings strapped to the side, Korean War style.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Sorry, but your best bet is to play Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons and a few levels of Return to Castle Wolfenstein at the same time. :-P ;)

:o

didn't know there was an actual version of it, I just heard about a guy who was tired of being shot at so he strapped a couple of .30 cals to his bird and fired them with a piece of string.

But still, it would fit in quite well with the rest of the Korean War era equipment the Malitia seem to be running about with these days.

We should start another thread titled "The Worse Militia Ever" and post our ideas about what they should have for equipment, like the Bell 47 for a heli, and I'm thinking a Tsar tank for armor? Maybe we can arm them with Henry 44-40 lever action rifles... or Swiss Vetterli??

The second link is for a player-created fictitious vehicle for the Rifts RPG.

Info about the optical sights for the BRDM-2/BTR-60PB turret was posted earlier in the thread. :)

I see that BRDM as a psychological weapon - whenever it fires it gives me a 'jump' due to the sound :)
