Yeah tanks carry loads of spares about! You not seen all the spare barrels tied on the back of them?!

Have you ever seen a crewman equiped with a welder on a battlefield in a middle of battle? Tanks are not equiped with such a tool (in real life/Project Reality). Heavy damaged tanks are usually pulled back from the battlefield and repaired away from the front line.RHYS4190 wrote:haahhah stick another plate of Armor over the hole and using soulder wheld the plate on. It could be done and work.
See! Proof that all crewmen should be able to completely repair a tank. If they got all those spare barrels they gotta have loads of spare tracks/armour plating too don't they?AnRK wrote:Yeah tanks carry loads of spares about! You not seen all the spare barrels tied on the back of them?!
bull they would have spare parts and plates and a welder in there some where in the tank for field repair's and doing what I described would not take long and could be done in the field. you just don't want tanks in this game to be able to repair them selves because you find it presents to much of a challenge and you can handle it is that why it was removed because you lot could not handle the difficulty of crewman being able to repair there tanks, removal of this fetcher had nothing to do with realism did itRagni<RangersPL> wrote:Have you ever seen a crewman equiped with a welder on a battlefield in a middle of battle? It is true that this kind of welding repairs work, but it is not done by the crewman (because they don't have a proper tools).

I have no problems with tanks. Overwhelming power of a tank is only a myth. If you really think that there are some whelders on board of a tank then show me some convincing PROOF (pictures, movies, technical manuals... anything) and I will agree with your opinion.RHYS4190 wrote:bull they would have spare parts and plates and a welder in there some where in the tank for field repair's and doing what I described would not take long and could be done in the field. you just don't want tanks in this game to be able to repair them selves because you find it presents to much of a challenge and you can handle it is that why it was removed because you lot could not handle the difficulty of crewman being able to repair there tanks, removal of this fetcher had nothing to do with realism did it.
