I fly with the keyboard[WASD+Arrows]..I always crash when I use the mouse [/blame 1600 DPI mouse]

yeah lag is a killer when it comes to flying in 0.6

It is harder to fly imo and the pilot view is more restricted. You should avoid diving to use the hydras, they are weak anyway. Its all about the hellfire tv missile imo.
Im impressed how strong the gun seemed to be in that video though
It tends to dive like your wearing concrete boots, dont stick the nose down unless you have lots of height

but... but.. flying after a few beers is so much fun.
(though if I feel a huge need to fly I usually switch to falcon 4.0 AF since I don't think my teammates appreciate my awesome skills which usually put me in the situation where the LB is somehow attached to a palm tree)

Woah no kidding 5000mb is alot. i have 2000mb but it still runs fine. Could it be you're running too many background task? Cos i closed some of my useless ones and it does help. But for 5GB of ram back ground tasks are nothing. It might be something else.

Maybe a usefull tip, there is a butterzone for all the choppers. This is the point at wich they are the easyest to control, in a hover.
With the apche it should be around 24/25% on the throttle.
And futhermore, plz use a joystick when flying. Tt makes things some much easyer.

All the helicopters in PR are flawed to be honest, but that has alot to do with the engine. The dives are wrong, acceleration is too fast and the tail rotor doesn´t seem to have any effect at over very slow speed.

Tail rotor's the one that always befuddled me. It cuts out at extremely low speed altogether... Not even slight adjustments are possible with it.
Having learned to fly my Vidya Gayme choppers in Desert Combat, it took me a very, very long time to adjust to PR flying.

Was yesterday on Kashan on the 10th. Our Apache squad didnt seem to have problems with the controls.
That a commander forwarded targets didnt hurt either.
