how to Detonate mines using C4?

Yeah, I can't remember what patch it was, but when AT mines could be detonated by grenades and such I thought it was great. You could just put a huge long row of them on the ground and they would all explode in succession.

People used to spam them in the streets at karkand so if a grenade went off next to someone they would get the kill :/ All part of the arcade gameplay though I suppose.
