Yeah I'm gonna go with support and grenadier too. Unfortunately the only time the supports are maxed out is on close combat maps where nobheads use them on full auto to no effect whatsoever, never seem to get anyone doing any proper cover fire with them. Grenadiers never seem to get requested at all but I've seen some people who are awesome with them and do alot of damage.

Tobak has a good point though. Unfortunately in Pub games people don't seem to be willing to play as kits you'd like, regardless of how well they stick together and such, which is a shame especially when you have useless SFs in your squad that could be doing something useful.

Yes, it's common, but I think, 5 Grenadiers on 32 players are enough.

Grenadier was a default kit in 0.5 and everyone ran out with the 203 activated, just shooting them randomly at anyone the saw, and half of them we're usually teamkills, since like 1/10 knew how to use the UGL properly without bouncing it off a wall into their teammates.

IIRC Grenadier wasn't default kit in 0.5, it was LAT.

I can atest to that! I've seen alot of people teamkill entire squad like that, Hell on .5 Muttrah i had some guy tk me and himself while we were capping dock because he underestimated the GL's explosive radius.(And an enemy was 10m away so yeah)

Lol im often using the grenadier kit, but with mixed results. Recently i defended a bunker on Mestia pretty much on my own (I killed 8 out of 10 ppl attacking and my squad killed the rest) but then i managed to hit the side of the bunker windown thing (damn deviation) and killed 2 teammates before hitting the damn thing again and kill me and my SL...

Least respected - Sniper
Least requested - AA
Least usefull - AA, because of the the very rare occasions you need it

Medic. It's available in the spawn menu, and yet you don't see people using it. Of course, it's respected by people who get revived... Still, if the SL doesn't yell at someone to use it, most people won't.

This is also the reason why I don't get to use the awesome grenadier kit. Though, I do see it used quite a bit, sometimes.

the american LAT - the aiming reticle is horrible so hardly anyone takes it.

brit, chinese and the rpg-7 have far better aims :D

The LAW 80 and PF-89 sights are just as bad as the AT4 :p . RPG-7v has the best sights by far

The LAT kits really should have graduated marks on the scopes, so people can develop a rough idea of how much to deviate their aim at range. You can do it as-is, but it's much harder :S

Im looking forward to the mods done to GL being applied to all weapons hopefully

To the OP I would say AA kit. Obviously it has a use but its range is short at only 600m or so and its not easy to lock a heli, lock again after its flared and fire sucessfully before it disappears out of range again. Often the missile will miss anyway.
Not the devs fault I know :/

It also gives a tone to the heli when the actual operator has no idea, no sight and no chance of lock, in short its crappy

HMG without a doubt. When used right this piece of hardware is devastating. Keyword being When.

MEC Grenadier is the most underrated and best. Comeone, have you ever fired the AK-101 on full auto? It has like no recoil at all and sounds cool (Y)

The scope and nades and then smoke and flashbangs on top make it very nice.
The Uk and usa version dont have the scope though for some reason

What is HMG? Suport gun ? yea thats good but not half as good as it should be, fingers crossed that will improve
