I actually like using the M16 in game the most... accurate, good recoil... and I personally think its alright at CQC...just click twice really fast...
The QBZ95 would have been my fav... but the sound is annoyingly unrealistic...

G3 and AK101

Voted for QBZ - very balanced rifle.
Close behind is the good old kick-*** one-shot pwnzorer, in other words, the G3 (which is battle rifle BTW

)
Then there's the L85 (also good rifle), the AK-101, the AK-47 (I just can't get to get used to this gun) and the last one is the 5.56, cal .50-like-kick M16. Good I hate this gun...

like the G3, L85A2 and QBZ-95 (in that order) hate the M16

L85A2 with SUSAT is by far the best weapon for me, good all round rifle I find, epically for long ranges

Iron site version is also good for CQB
Next followed by the G3 for pure power, next the QBZ-95 and last, the M16 cos its a **** vBF2 model, and the recoil etc on it is all off

Thou I use to love the M16 back in .3

I agree with everything you said but do you realize the recoil and sound in 0.5 was identical in 0.3! ;)
And the recoil in 0.6 is actually significantly less than the 0.3 and 0.5 versions of the M16. A good thing in my view and a realistic thing aswell!

ehhh the sound is the same as it was in .3, but the recoil is very, very diffrent. In v0.3 there was no recoil like what we have now.

L85 for life.
I just hope the C-7 is not going to be the same as the M-16 just another model

OK, alittle confusion on my part and mabey yours:
This is my idea:
(Version 1) The sound and recoil of the M16 were identical in 0.3 and 0.5
(A)The sounds of the M16 in 0.4 and 0.6 are the same BUT DIFFERENT to sound in version 1.
(B)The recoil of the M16 in 0.4 and 0.6 is the same BUT DIFFERENT to the recoil in version 1.
Therefore (A) and (B) combine to create (Version 2) which has both different recoil and sound to (Version 1).
Version 1 = 0.3 and 0.5
Version 2 = 0.4 and 0.6
There recoil of the M16 is therefore lower than it has been in the past and for this reason it makes it a relatively effective weapon for laying down accurate suppressing fire. There were strong debates over it recoil in the past and this is clearly evident in the repeated changes made to it (decreased in 0.4, increased in 0.5, decreased in 0.6). I hope it remains the same because comments from person who have fired the weapon suggest it is realistic (no references sorry so disputable) and laying down supp. fire in 0.5 and 0.3 (Version 1) was very very difficult.

G3 easily. Excellent accuracy, power and scope view.
The M16 is the worst. While it is accurate it does too little damage and has too much recoil considering it fires a smaller round than the G3 and QBZ. Burst is entirely useless too because of hit detection issues. It's not rare that 9 shots from the M16 could not kill a guy.

I love that QBZ 95. No matter what firing mode its in, it always seems to do exactly what i want it to do. The scope works like any other so there is no complaints there and the clip is standard so no complaints there either. The only thing i dont like is that it still sounds like a weak weapon but im beginning to get used to it and maybe even like it.

AK47 !
Seriously, who doesn't enjoy shooting in the air with their AK47 after ambushing an enemy APC while yelling ALLAHU AKBAR !

Dude, the C7 is going to be an M16, but full auto.
Imagine, an entire team equipped with more powerful versions of the M4A1!
The Horror! D:

SA-80, G3, QBZ, M16
SA-80 is a sniper rifle as the optics are perfect.
G3 has the power to be sloppy with it. Vs a 5.56 round equipped nme all you have to do is put a shot on them and they will bleed and or get blurry vision which gives you time to finish them off.
QBZ is pretty good, optics are ok but IMO way too much **** in there thats pointless.
M16 would be bad *** if it had optics, the front post is horrible and the overall sight picture when zoomed in is limited (to be fixed soon I know.)

Whilst I believe in the "Its the User, not the tool" point of view, I would have to say the L85, its a Nice Versitile weapon in PR

The QBZ-95 feels... kinda... tinny... Good weapon, but don't like the noise or the fact that every shot I take at range seems to just bounce off British helmets.
The M16 is just an awful weapon, I don't like it.
Likewise the AK-47 - awful to aim at range, kinda toy-noise and just... blurgh.
L-85 variants and the G3, I love. G3 obviously puts people down very very quickly and the 85 has a lovely SUSAT.
