Great suggestion. The only problem is that having effects render at too long a distance is a long shot with the BF2 engine. Even statics start to flicker at long distances. At the moment we're really busy with 0.7 stuff that needs to be done but this is definitely something to keep in mind

well, maybe using the effect of the gau cannon in a10 for shells? you know , that effect of yelloy thing flying arround when you hit the tank ?

getting the blurry effect,like when you're dying,without the coughing and stuff,when a tank round hits your armored vehicle,for like 2-5secs. would be kinda cool,for like a shaken crewmen...

That would seriously kick *** if that was possible for example when you get hit by one sabot/rpg round i would think that it would hurt some of the crews onboard the tank or apc!

I'm not saying you start dying,just you get a little "shaken" and you get blurred for a few secs.

I think dynamic lighting isn't possible, so a bright flash would be out of the question.
But I'm not sure.
