Modern weapon systems = long range. PR = Can't do long range. In PR an RPG can take a shot at an Apache from near equal distance.

this has nothing to do with longrange, althought zoom is good.. IRL an RPG can takeout an apache easily.. lol

Obviously. What I was talking about is, an apache IRL can fire from a range far enough that the target won't even know they are being targeted or fired at, but in PR that is not the case. So unless you mess up and overfly the target area and catch an rpg, the rpg soldier wouldn't stand a chance.

So the whole flying demo in that clip does not apply in PR, as even on a map like kashan a tank can engage at an equal range as the apache would. Hiding behind a hill in PR vs a tank would get you tank sniped as soon as you expose yourself. And in pr the longbow has no radar that can lock onto things and lob a hellfire, which is the whole point in flying that way. Stay out of sight, only expose the radome, lock, pop up, launch, and hide again, which is RL and can't be done in PR.

The way you fly has everything to do with weapons employment.

Sorry but I think the idea of having a camera view from the mast is a bit dumb because all the targeting optics are mounted in the chin. It's a radar mounted on the mast not a camera so it's unrealistic, not to mention it could result in embarassing misfires when ppl don't bring the chopper high enough from cover to launch and the missile just clips what you're hiding behind. I guess if nothing can be done with it (no surprises there) then it'll just remain eye candy.

Huh, hitting a helicopter with an RPG isn't easy. Hitting a car from 50 yards away is difficult for a novice. Hitting a fast moving attack helicopter from 200 yards is near impossible. It needs to be landing or hovering to hit it with any accuracy.

Did I say easy? Did I say moving? No and No.
