Just like the USN, the Royal Navy (including the Royal Marine Commandos) use different vehicles, insignia and some different equipment, They also suit different maps. For example, the British Army use the Lynx as a light transport, the Royal Marines use the Sea King. Or the Land Forces air support is the Typhoon/Harrier wile the Naval forces have the JCA.

Because this is just turning into a brag fest: I WANT POLAND.

But back on topic....

I believe these factiosn will be represented and it is certainly a good thing for diversity but how would the files be distributed is the obvious question. Obviously torrents are the answer with these large file sizes but the files being grouped together. That's a tough one.

PERSONALLY I'd love to see them all included in one-super massive download (sorry slow connection and restricted download people but you can resume with torrents). This way if they were all together we could play on servers with all the factions for incredibly varied gameplay (rather than restarting your BF2 engine to play PR Polish vs Insurgents or IDF vs Hamas or whatever).

Problems acknowledged; the PR staff will be on the recieving end of bugs that are beyond thier control.

Edit - Marines also use the Lynx...it's on the Royal Marine Commando website...nub ;)
I'm just kiddin' but they do use the Lynx. (Even though it is only REALLY suitable for carrying shopping)
