Lets be honest, there has to be an engineer at the airbase anyway. Who else is going to repair those pot hots caused but enemy bombs falling on the runway.
I actually like the idea.
The central focus has always been teamwork. Teamwork is not limited to shooting the enemy.
However, 32 people each side, you can't afford many people to be supporting the entire team in non-combat roles.

perhaps just longer reload times then 
with the need for an ammo truck nearby.
After all it does take a while for jets to reload their bomb loads.
By the sounds of it with more realistic airfields it would be great seeing the jets land and taxi out to the Ammo truck, reload, taxi back to take off, everything clear? full powerrrr!
I think it'd give pilots a bit more incentive to think about where they drop their bombs and when they fire instead of just dropping them willy nilly. twill soon get annoying constantly going back to base because youre dropping your huge bombs on 3 man targets.
IRL you be having your CO ripping your head off for wasting over £5 million worth of bombs on a puny target. this would give our pilots the incentive to not drop their "£5 million" bombs on stupid targets.
