A challenger 2 in iraq was hit by over 70 RPGs and the crew was unhurt and the tank was repaired by the end of the day.
SO I really, really, don't think a couple of rpg hits to a MBT should kill the crew inside.

The worst an M1 Abrams has seen is,it took 50 RPG's in Iraq, and came back with an un-hurt crew and still funtioning vehicle!RPG-7's suck!
And someone mentioned how tanks go out due to damage and not being totally blown up?
This is why i miss my handy dandy wrench in my Crewman kit.Crewmen are trained to maintain and operate their vehilce!Hence the word "MAINTAIN!".Most people that play PR that use the Engineer kit won't bother to fix your vehicle up,so you're screwed...I consider myself a good engineer.I'll tag along on the 50cal. on a tank, and repair him during rough driving and tank fights. While if a vital road/bridge is damaged,I'll fix it.

Giving the crewman a wrench encourages lone-wolf tanking.

You wouldn't be pulling out your toolkit for major repairs like an entire damaged turret and treads and leaving in 5 minutes in reality no matter how skilled of a repair man you are...
Though it is slightly balanced by you having a vulnerable engineer who can repair faster than that but has a high chance of being killed from being ran over & bad communication and the fact hes in the .50 hopping in and out...
No wrench for YOUUUSS!

50 rpgs? You would have some serious headache after that unless.. imagen the explosive force on the armor.. im pretty sure you wouldnt be in a healthy condition unless the warhead was redirected by the armor not actually exploading on impact

I think that might have been a RPG 29, I am not sure.
Swe, keep in mind that it was 50 RPG over the day, not all at the same-time or successively

That was an RPG-29
The RPG29 is capable of defeating any modern MBT armour...do some research next time.

RPG-7v's will not scratch the paint of any modern MBT, PRs 6-8 hits with an RPG to kill a tank is very very generous.
*Edit* sorry for double post
