I believe i've heard that this can be caused by ingame Screen Resolution Settings.

Try using different settings. And see if you crash. It might be your system/game/graphics card all getting a bit confussed with each other.

Try and use the same setting for your system and in game. As long as you are not using some unsual system settings. I'd test in this area.

Grinch wrote:LOL! I played it just few days ago fine. Then in xmas eve it just went like that., as i got a present from santa headset "Microsoft Live Chat". I uninstalled it didnt work.

I got
1.66gt Athlon +2000
768 RAM
ATI X1950 or what is the best AGP card.

And i use XP.

what settings are you running it at? I had almost the same problem... like my ping would go from 20 to 600 every few seconds... so i asked around and they said it was because i needed more ram... so i lowered my graphics settings and now it runs buttery smooth.. so maybe get more ram? or lower your graphics?

CTD on map load only happens (regularly) with ATI graphics cards in my experience..

2 maps fine, 3rd crash unless you escape and quickly log out, back in and rejoin the server then it is fine
