You know.... .6 brought insurgency mode and .7 brings counter attack, would be sweet if .8 was the glorious rebirth of extraction

I remember when I was the VIP and my convoy got IED'd, then 4 insurgents rushed us, the SUV managed to get away thanks to the .50 cal on the humvees

I remember getting owned in the VIP car. Nothing special to mention if it wouldn't be by a friendly A-10 just outside the airport !
That pilot had to be retarded or something .

Ive been gone a while, hopefully will be playing PR again in the next month. So i dug up some old threads...

It might not be the same as the old extraction mode, but their community mod seems to be striving for something similar.

I love how people bump old threads with pointless posts.

But on-topic, it would be awsome to see extraction mode back, it was really fun when you got a good round.

I flippin' loved extraction...and if the rules were easy to understand, and the gameplay had been tweaked, many more people would too.

...if we cant have Extraction Mode back, maybe just the black SUV's then???

I liked it a lot, because it required a lot of team work to kill the VIPand also a lot of team work to keep the VIP safe. Hope the dev bring it back.

Extract was awesome, Remember one round on basra with the SUV escorted by Hummer either side and two LBs in close proximity. Was just like the scene out of black hawk down when they capture the guy in the jeep.

Check out the PSC faction, they have some ideas of extraction mode

OK, so we know it can be done, we used to be able to play it in it's roughest form...it just needs to be tweaked.
Even when it was not working as well as it could have been, it still drew a crowd. I think theres a large part of us that would LOVE to see it back...even if its rough...
....were gettin sick of 'capping flags'! Weve been 'capping flags' since 1942!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I love Insurgency Mode BTW, & I know thats not capping flags...)


Release the Extraction Mode!!! Let us test it, Lets get our feedback to ya' and fix it up!!!!
I, for one, would love to help, and test this mode...

Hell, I even liked the map where it was 2 alleyways, and ya' had to get the kit to make one person the VIP, then make it back. Remember the spawn camping?????>!!!>!^&*&^*$&!!!
Alot of people tried to play on that map, got frustrated, and just gave up on the mode itself.

Btw, IIRC Extract should be making a come back with the "Scenario" Game mode in one form or another, so just hold in. Plus PMC will be perfect for this style of game play!
