The green arrows distance is relative to the distance you can see friendly nametags. RIght now it's 30m. If you guys want 50m, this means you would see nametags 50m away as well. Maybe it's a good compromise with the removal of the minimap.

hmmm...i didnt think nametags show up at 30m. i could be wrong, but seems to me they dissappear after 10-15m.

interesting. i will have to measure it next round.

It starts to fade out before, to be completely invisible at 30m.

Sounds good to me, I only use the attack marker really. Probably because 10m is too close, 1 nade could kill you both that way.

I agree as well. I think 50m would be great. I see no downside. I dont think its a problem with having too many friendlies popping up. The maps are bigger, and as a result people are more spread out. This would stop me from my caplock or homekey death. You know..you stop to get bearings by looking at your map to see where the heck your squad is and whamm.."respawn in 30 seconds"..lol

Yes please. Increased Squad Markers would be very much appreciated and in fact if SL marker could be even longer than the other squad members that would also be helpful.

Longer or even a bit larger would be very helpful indeed.

Is there a way to remove nametags without removing the arrows? I know the SL number is the same 3d bit as flags and attack orders and such.

I have agreed with this before and still agree with this suggestion whole heartedly. The arrows at 50meters would do leaps and bounds in assisting in situational awareness, especially since they fade out at 50meters. I've already been using the arrows a lot and I'd like to see their use expanded upon.

What about labeling the Squad Leader's arrow with a special icon as well?
